According to the bible in 1Timothy Chapter 3, talking about deacons and overseers it says in verse 2 " Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money."

Then we also find a little further down the chapter it says starting in verse 11 " In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything."

In other words, be trustworthy to your spouse, not only out of respect but because the bible says it. If you love your husband or wife, you will be faithful and committed only to them.

Devotion Of A Husband

Many people are unaware that the man must devote the first year of his marriage completely to his wife and making her happy. "If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married." Deuteronomy 24:5. Now a days this seems almost impossible because of the financial problems affecting our country but a husband must try to make his wife happy at all means necessary. The first year of marriage is the most important and probably the toughest year couples will face throughout their marriage because it is the time you really get to know your spouse and their ways because you are now living with that person. Every couple must learn to work through their problams and pray to God about it everyday he is the one that can strengthen your relationship.

Man Should Not Be Alone

The words of the Lord himself, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." He had created man and knew that there was something missing, he created cattle, birds, and every living creature but with all those things no helper was fit for Adam. The Lord placed Adam under a deep sleep and took his own rib and created a woman for Adam by the name of Eve to be his wife. When a man weds he is to leave his mother and father and be bound to his wife so that they can both become one flesh. God has created a person for everyone on this earth you just have to find that special person, and when you do you will know they are the one God created just for you.

Real Love

You are NOT a slave...

Not matter how far we walk this path of Christianity, some are still enslaved to a bondage that can only be freed through a real relationship with Christ. I have experienced a lot in my 3 years as a servant of the Lord; I've experienced the good and the bad. I've seen the power of God, I've felt his presence, and I am lucky and undeserving of His grace. However, God looks at us, and through His love, lets his presence be felt.

It is sad to see people going to church, afraid to serve God. Afraid in the sense that they feel they aren't good enough, afraid because they think they will be judged as soon as they walk into the temple. I mean, it's not meant to be that way: [The last place I want to feel judged is church. I want to go to church and feel good, I want to feel the love of Christ. I don't want to go to church and feel bad; I don't want to feel like I'm not good enough to serve God].

The sad thing is that fellow believers in Christ feel the same way every Sunday or whichever day they have service. They feel judged and their self-esteem brought down; when in reality God is abundance of Love and Grace:

"Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands." - Deuteronomy 7:9

"How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings." - Psalm 36:7

"For the Lord God is our sun and our shield .He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right." -Psalm 84:11

Romans Chapter 8 verse 15 says: "So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” Therefore, don't be afraid to worship God! It doesn't matter if you have facial hair or not, it doesn't matter if you wear jeans or slacks, it doesn't matter if you're black, white, yellow, red, blue, green! It does not matter, God looks at what's in your heart; a sincere love for Him He will not ignore! Just be faithful to our Father, God. Respect Him, Trust Him, LOVE Him with all your heart, with all your soul, and place him as number one always, in everything you ever do. Consult with God before you do anything, before making any decision, put everything in prayer.

Philippians 4:6 says "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." Could it be said any better than that? Fear nothing...

You are NOT a slave of human rules. Obey God, read the bible, follow the word, respect your BIBLE PREACHING pastors, congretate and fellowship with other Christians. Grow together in Christ and fear nothing, because God is with you!

Night of Worship

All the saints got together in praise and worship to the Lord! We all rose our hands in the air and said "God, you are Holy, you are worthy of praise! We love YOU!" Over 500 people got together to worship God at the Christ Fellowship Palm Beach Gardens campus. All the campuses got together, the Royal Palm, Stuart, and City Place campuses met at the Gardens campus with all the worship leaders to praise our God!

We could feel the presence of God as we all sang together, it was great! It was an amazing time. I will go ahead and post some pictures up when I get a chance. God bless! Hope you have a great week. Don't forget God is great, all the time!

New Believers in Christ

Church was awesome tonight at Christ Fellowship. The music was good as always, it is so good to see people, God' children, all stand together and praise Him. It is truly an amazing feeling. The preaching was awesome also, Pastor Todd Mullins did an awesome job with the Philippians book these past weeks. Tomorrow night at the Palm Beach Gardens campus there will be an event called "Night of Worship." Where all the worship leaders of the Christ Fellowship campuses will be getting together in praise and worship to God from 7pm to 9pm. It will be awesome, I can't wait.

I just started reading the book of Colossians, I just read chapter one. Remember, that:

This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.

I went to Christ Fellowship on Saturday; I attended the 6pm service and I can say the praise and worship team was amazing! I can't begin to describe the way that God moves. I mean, I have a lot to say, but I came from a church where I felt judged all the time, I felt monitored and I felt like a robot. I feel so free to worship God at Christ Fellowship, I don't have the words to describe. God does move and uses anything He wants to make His presence felt!

Please pray for me, my family, the United States, the world, all the children of Christ, Israel, and those who mean something to you. God Bless and take care!

Christ Fellowship

Royal Palm Beach, Florida. That's where I was on Sunday, July 11th 2010 at 9:00am. I decided to visit Christ Fellowship and the environment is absolutely amazing. Praise and worship was great; the sound is awesome, the songs are good and the displays on the screens show the musicians with the lyrics to the songs so you can sing along if you don't know the songs. The sermon was great, Pastor Todd Mullins really knows his stuff, he is a great speaker with a lot of information, not only biblical but secular. I understood everything he said because his preaching is direct from the bible and he uses examples and words that are easily understood. I will definitely make this my home church, I felt God's presence greatly during praise and worship and during the sermon also. Hearing 300+ people, believers, singing to God all at once is amazing, God does move and His presence is felt!

He never fails...

I had a great experience with God in my room last night. I was praying and asked the Holy Spirit to descend and God never fails. It's true what His words says:

And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” - John 1:51

I feel refreshed, recharged, and renewed by the Spirit of God. Praise His name!

The presence of God is awesome! Just want to share the fact that last night as I was praying, the Holy Spirit of God came upon me and the presence of God is beautiful. Its an amazing feeling that God let's us feel to see how glorious and powerful He is!

It the midst of the trials and tribulations, God is there! Sending angels to fight the good battle for us, to help us and minister in our lives.

You have made known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,

Why don't they just stop?

People will NEVER stop persecuting you if you are doing the work of Christ. If you are a true son/daughter of God doing His will; people will always talk about you and say evil things about you to make you look bad. However, do not fear, the One who is with you is greater than them.

^"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." - Matthew 5:10-12

I challenge you; I dare you to stand firm when people talk about you. Don't speak bad about them, just show them the love God has placed in your heart. God is a just (righteous) God only He has the authority and power to change the circumstances. Remember, you will get your reward in heaven! :)

Live Life Trusting Christ

"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves." - John 14: 7-11

We all get in that mood where we feel alone, depressed, rejected and detested by the world. We forget that our problems are not ours anymore, Christ takes charge and controls our life now; of course, after accepting Him as Lord and Savior of your life. We build a "trusting relationship," that no matter what happens or what we go through, He is in charge and we need to wait on Him and follow God's will.

Yes, it is made hard on us. Yes, some of you may not agree with my beliefs, some may not be Christians; some may not even believe in God. The fact is, that God does exist. Scientists have spent lifetimes trying to explain where life "came from." However, that's a silly question to ask. Why think of theories and scientific "data" that never really makes sense and always contradicts itself? The "Big Bang Theory?" Something was made out of nothing? For no reason? And a bunch of gasses and stars were formed, some stars had planets that had NO LIFE in them. All this happened within billions of years and, miraculously, the Earth is the ONLY planet that has life in it. We're it. From a HUGE explosion (the Big Bang), to LIFE on Earth as we know it? It makes sense to those who study that all their life, they don't know anything else BUT that.

There is HOPE!

However, the Bible is the Word of God. The Bible says that a Creator, God, created the Heaves and the Earth, He created man and out of man's rib he created woman; because man needed a companion, to be close to him and to reproduce. Out of that lineage, came us; we're the result of God's creation. Of course, we are all children of God through creation, but we can only become true heirs to the throne by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior. We can only be cleansed of our sins through the shedding of Christ's blood, He died for us; but we need to let Him into our lives and take full control. I mean, God loved us before we loved Him.

God has a Plan

God has a plan for our life. For my life. For your life. For the life of your children and their children's children. God chose you from the womb of your mother to be used for His glory. God has given you talents and abilities, you may think they are your own personal achievements and skills, but God has given that to you. You don't see it, but God has been there all your life. Through thick and thin, through happiness, sorrow, grief, life, and death. God IS THERE. He is HERE. He doesn't want us to walk with our heads down. He doesn't want us to be walking full of pity for ourselves and full of pain and no hope. God wants to give you a chance at life, to live life for HIM!

People die, people live. People are born then they die. People get sick and people get well. People are happy and people are sad. People this and people that; what about God? Where have you left God? Where is He? Did you leave Him out of your heart, out of your life, to do what you want to do? I'll tell you, us humans HATE authority on us. We detest the fact that people tell us what to do. Why do you think you rebelled against your parents so much? Why do you think your children rebel against you? We DO NOT LIKE to be told what to do... But God is GOD! God decides what He wants to do for us and His will for us is perfect. He will not have us do something that will hurt us or make us a bad person or damage our hearts. God just wants to guide us and He wants us to love Him 1st before anything else; He wants us to do His will because He has a plan for all of us.

You can walk with your head held high and proudly call yourself a son or daughter of God, or you can keep walking with your head down, depressed, sad, angry, with no peace and NOT saved.

You Decide

The decision is yours, God gives you a chance; He's here waiting for you. Problems won't disappear but you'll have peace. Peace from God, our Father, who is GREAT!

Speaking the Word: An Experience

It’s always nice to see God’s hand working in people’s lives. It’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog but I want to share the experience that I had on Saturday, December 27th 2008.

I am part of a youth group, T.S.C, that has Christ as the foundation and our job is to preach the word to the entire world, focusing on today’s youth. We decided to feed the homeless so we prepared some hot dogs and sodas to give them. At the same time we spoke to them about Christ and invited them to church. Our task was hard because there were barely any homeless people in the area we were in so I decided to walk further down the road with a member of the youth group with me. We had no luck so we gathered back at our starting point and said a prayer.

We, once again, walked around in search of the souls. We spoke to some people that were gathered together and asked them if they were hungry. We told them we had some food and told them to never forget that God is good and He always provides for His children. We spoke to about 20 people, not all of them were homeless, but we decided to talk to anyone we saw on the streets.

I personally felt great after the experience I had. I felt good doing God’s work and speaking to people about his salvation. It wasn’t as hard as I thought; the only hard part of it was finding people to actually talk to.

I don’t have church service on Saturday night; we, the musicians, have music practice instead. However, this Saturday our practice was canceled so I decided to go to the church service that other members of my youth group had; they have service Saturday nights at 7:30pm. I walked in and prayed before the service as I usually do. Then a member of the youth group came to me and said “Pablo, one of the people that you talked to is here and he is looking for you, greet him when you get the chance.” I finished praying then I looked around and saw not only one man I had spoken to, but I saw two men! I felt joy in my heart and I knew that the work I did for God was NOT in vain! God uses us to talk to the people that need to hear His word. Most of the world is lonely and they need someone to speak to them; those brave souls that are willing to go and speak God’s word to other people will NOT be ashamed. God will support them 110% of the way. We should use Nike’s slogan here and instead of thinking about talking to the people about Christ, we should JUST DO IT! It’s not as hard as it sounds; God is with you! ALWAYS!

I have a few things in mind for 2009 and one of them is to talk to people more about Christ and the Gospel. I have written an article on Associated Content about my New Year’s Resolution. You can read it by clicking HERE [Win People to Christ].

So take the initiative this New Year and go do what you’ve been called to do! Preach the Word to all CREATION!

God always speaks through His word. Tonight I opened my bible and this is what I read:

Isaiah 49:23-26 (New King James Version)

23 Kings shall be your foster fathers,
And their queens your nursing mothers;
They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth,
And lick up the dust of your feet.
Then you will know that I am the LORD,
For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.”
24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty,
Or the captives of the righteous be delivered?

25 But thus says the LORD:

“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away,
And the prey of the terrible be delivered;
For I will contend with him who contends with you,
And I will save your children.
26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh,
And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine.
All flesh shall know
That I, the LORD, am your Savior,
And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Don't ever be afraid! If you are faithful to God and do what He asks of you, then He will be with you 100% of the way! No matter what decisions you have to make in life, God will be there with the Holy Spirit to guide you and help you through your time of difficulty! Read the bible, let God speak to you! Open your heart and let Him in, he will change your life and grant you eternal life through salvation! Praise the Lord!

There is this song that talks about the Rapture and all the things that will happen when Christ comes to raise His church to heaven. We all know that only the ones that are holy and clean in the eyes of God will be taken to heaven and everyone else will be judged accordingly. The only way to heaven is through Christ.

The song I found is by Rene Gonzalez; it is titled "Despierta." Of course, the song is in Spanish, here are the lyrics if you read Spanish:

That song is really touching! I recommend it to everyone! God, once again, manifested Himself in my life again today! He spoke to me through the Pastor's message today in a special way. He spoke to a few areas of my life and I know that God has purpose! Praise the Lord!

What a day!

I've been up since 7am yesterday and I'm exhausted! God is so good, I went to Fort White, Florida, to a service. On the way back, God ministered to me and I learned to value things a little more. I made some friendships with people that I know God will use in my life.

God's mercy is so great that His love endures forever. We have to be thankful for the sacrifice that God made, sending Jesus to us so we could be saved. We are saved by grace through faith. The most important thing in the world is to minister and preach the word of God to lost souls.

If you feel that you need to make the step, make the prayer of faith and accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. Tell Him to guide you and clean you from your sins. Ask Jesus to take your life and change it, make it work for Him. We are not here to please ourselves but to serve God. God will bless us and glorify Himself in us, but we have to make that step of faith and accept Jesus as our Savior. The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ!

Thank God it's FRIDAY! It's been a really long week. I, however, am happy to see God manifest himself in my life. In my every day life, at church, with school, at work! EVERYWHERE! I passed Physics with a B! I can only thank God for all the help and giving me the understanding to pass that class. I am one step closer to Architecture!

I want to pray for those that are going through hard times in life right now. I know some people that have lost family members in the past days. My friend lost his mother and I can only ask God to strengthen him. I can't imagine going through what he's going through, but God is a righteous God! So please, help me pray for those that need God's help and guidance. For those that don't have a home, for those that lost relatives and for those who need Salvation!

May the Lord bless you and guide you!

What's up with the weather in "Sunny Florida?" Not very sunny right now is it? Well, change is not always bad, it can be good in someone's perspective. Tomorrow will be a good day, thank God. I'm putting life aside for at least a few hours, you know; I'll take some time to relax.

By the way, last night's presentation for my Physics class was BORING! Geez, I hope no one from my class is reading right now, but their presentations were BORING! Ha! It was alright, I'm just busting thier chops. My group's presentation was alright too. I flew a toy helicopter and threw and a model airplane, besides the fact that I introduced the presentation to the class. You know, like I said, God always provides the help we need!

Well today is one of those days; presentation for Physics tonight, on hummingbirds? Next Wednesday I'll be taking my physics final, I'm really excited about that.. NOT! But hey, we gotta do what we gotta do! I trust in God so everything will work out for the best.
